My name is Daniel Lazaros Shahbaz Ali. I am a Swedish citizen, originally born in Pakistan, with roots that stretch back to Himachal Pradesh, India. My journey has taken me across more than 40 countries, and along the way I have gathered experiences, stories, and perspectives that deeply shape my writing.
I have studied psychology and automobile engineering in Sweden, but my true passion lies in philosophy, storytelling, and exploring the human spirit. I write in English, though my first languages are Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi, and I also speak Swedish, Gojri and a few local dialects.
As an author, I enjoy weaving together philosophy, faith, culture, and human emotions into narratives that spark reflection. My published works include The Devil’s God and Ashes of the Divine, and I am currently working on a new novel titled converted Christians.
One of my favorite sayings is: “Hope begins where there is no hope.”
I’m glad to join this forum and look forward to sharing ideas, learning from fellow writers, and growing together in this creative journey.
